The shop that started as a repair bench
Comp-Phone began in 2011 with two benches, one small room, and a steady stream of machines people couldn't get fixed anywhere else. The name came from the two things on the counter: the computer and the phone. The Hebrew tagline under the logo —מחשבים וסלולר— says the same thing out loud.
Repair taught us which machines fail. A hinge that cracks in year three, a battery that swells, a phone whose charging port is a soldered nightmare. So when customers started asking us to sell them something, we stocked only what we would put on our own desks.
That's why the shelf holds ten machines instead of a thousand. Every one is opened, updated and tested before it leaves us. Every price includes VAT. And if something fails, you bring it to the same counter that sold it — we don't mail it away to a warehouse and hope.
The logo is the whole business in one mark: a laptop and a phone inside a gear, navy for the part that has to be dependable, orange for the part that actually gets things moving.
What we promise
- We sell what we'd use. If we wouldn't buy it, it isn't on the shelf.
- We fix what we sell. Warranty work happens at our bench, not by post.
- We tell you the truth about a machine. Including when the cheaper one is the right answer.
